Você já ouviu Axl Rose destilando veneno contra os policiais de Chicago?
Ou, refazendo a pergunta, você já ouviu o Guns n' Roses tocando o "Cop Rap" ("Rap do Policial"), também conhecido como "Axl's Blues" (o "Blues do Axl")?
Bom...
Então chegou a hora...

O "Cop Rap" ou "Axl's Blues" é uma "quase música" que o Guns n' Roses tocou apenas uma vez.
Uma "quase música"?
Que porra é essa?
O blog explica.
Tudo começou em dezembro de 1987, quando cinco caras engravatados chamaram Axl Rose de "Bon Jovi" num hotel de Chicago.
Bon Jovi?
Brincadeira tem limite...
Axl ficou puto.
E o que se seguiu foi uma briga generalizada.
Da qual participaram os cinco engravatados, Axl, Steven Adler, Mike Mayhue (roadie do Guns) e mais um monte de gente.
A zorra toda terminou com Axl sendo levado à cadeia pelos policiais de Chicago.

Apesar de todo o drama, Axl Rose foi liberado.
E o Guns conseguiu fazer o show da noite seguinte, em Madison, Wiscosin.
E, neste show, Axl resolveu contar ao público a historinha do "ataque" que sofrera dos "cops" de Chicago.
O detalhe é que Axl Rose contou a historinha enquanto Slash, Izzy, Duff e Steven estavam mandando uma puta jam blueseira.
Ou seja, o "Cop Rap" (ou "Axl's Blues") não é exatamente uma "música".
E sim um improviso, com Axl Rose literalmente falando em cima da base blues de Slash, Izzy, Duff e Steven.
Mas o engraçado é que esse improviso ficou bom.
Tipo, bom pra cacete.
Parece uma música.
E é bem mais legal que muita música de verdade.

Então, sem mais delongas, o blog desenterra essa jam clássica do Guns conhecida como "Cop Rap" ou "Axl's Blues".

- Now last night, what happened was, five guys in suits decided in the Hyatt Regency Hotel that we were scumbags. They were right, we're scumbags, but... that don't mean we're gonna take their shit. So first off, this guy grabs me and calls me Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi can suck my dick. Second off he tried to hit me. That's when Steven cracked him in the head with his cast. And his words were 'You never try to hit one of the family'. Then another guy tried to hit me and... 'Come here... just come out for a minute', our guitar tech Mr. Mike Mayhue here he laid him out in one punch. Then after that, they kicked us out of the bar and these same five guys holding ice packs on their heads blocked us off in the hallway and called us out again. He knocked the same motherfucker out twice. After that, the cops came and started arresting people that weren't even involved in the fight, 'cause they had typical cop mentality. The reason I went to jail was because this real big fucking cop told this 17 year-old girl, who they were trying to arrest her boyfriend and she was upset, that if she didn't shut her fucking mouth he'd kick her fucking ass and she was a stupid bitch. Anyway... Pretty low, right, for a big fucker. Then he went to hit her and so to distract him, I told him to 'Fuck off.' This guy chased me for about 20 feet and then threw me 10 feet into the bar and I wasn't even fighting and it took 5 fucking assholes to hold me down. People wonder what we write our songs about. I think you can get the general idea when we write a song like "Out Ta Get Me"...
